About Gagan Hazari
Gagan lives in the small village in Central India, which sits atop bluffs overlooking a river. 500 people call Gandhigram their home. He comes from a family of four with one sister. Together they live in a small mud hut.
During a typical day, you'll see Gagan go to school, do his chores, and play cricket with his friends from the village. He loves to eat rice, dal (lentils), and roti (flat bread), staples throughout India. Gagan is a big help to his family, especially his father as they work together in the fields.
