About Charanjit Roshan Kaur
Charanjit lives with her parents, grandparents, one brother, and two sisters in a small brick and mud house in a remote village located in the plains of North India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon seasons. The family uses wood and propane as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their home.
Charanjit helps with household chores. Her father is an unskilled low-wage laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Understanding the value of education, Charanjit wants to become a teacher one day. In her spare time, Charanjit enjoys playing kho-kho with her friends and siblings. Her favorite foods are dal, rice, veggies, and chapatti.
Although the family is Sikh, they are attending church each Sunday and exploring Christianity. Please pray for Charanjit and her family that through these Bible studies they will discover the good news of Jesus. Charanjit needs your financial help and support to provide for her school fees, school uniform, books, school bag, and other needs such as school lunches, shoes, and an umbrella.
