About Ashish Pargi
My name is Ashish Pargi. I come from a remote village. My tribe lives in the Jungle. None of them went to school and still live in their community with our ancient primitive ways. The best thing that happened to our ancestors was that some missionaries came to them and taught them about God's love and His sacrifice, forgiveness, glory, and hope of salvation given by the creator God through Jesus. So many accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior and surrendered their lives to Him. We are happy in Jesus, however, because most of our tribe is illiterate, their lives in the village are difficult. Our leader was convinced that if we want to progress in life we must get educated. I was privileged to be chosen for the Mercy Home program where I lived for the last five years. In May I graduated from high school with good grades.
My dream was to go to college. In September I was blessed to start my studies in the Law College. This is a four-year course which includes a Bachelor in Arts and a Bachelor in Law. The cost is $170 per month. My family is very poor and not able to pay for my higher education. I am praying for God to send me a sponsor because without a sponsor I will not be able to continue my studies. Would you be an answer to my prayers?
