About Arvind Paragi

Arvind Paragi is from a small, remote village in Western India. This area is in a valley that experiences intense heat and droughts. He lives with his parents and three brothers in a small mud hut. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals, and they don't have access to electricity. The water well the family uses is over a mile from their home, which means getting water each day is extremely laborious.

His father is an unskilled laborer, which means he takes arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields. His mother is a homemaker and Arvind helps with the gardening and tending livestock. Arvind loves to read. Understanding the value of education, Arvind wants to become a teacher one day and we want to help provide him with the education he will need to achieve that goal! In his spare time, Arvind enjoys playing soccer. His favorite foods are rice and chapatti. Arvind comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. Arvind needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Arvind!
