About Arshwan Bhudara

Arshwan is from a small village in Western India. This area is in a valley that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. He lives with his parents and one brother in a small mud hut. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their home.

Arshwan comes from a dedicated Christian family. His father is a laborer, which means he takes unskilled construction jobs or works in agricultural fields. His mother is a homemaker and Arshwan helps with household chores and gardening. Arshwan wants to become a teacher one day and we want to give him access to the education that will help him achieve that goal. He enjoys singing and dancing, and playing Sitoliya, an Indian game that involves knocking over piles of stones with a ball and tagging your opponents out as the reassemble their stack of stones. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), chicken, and chapatti. Arshwan needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Arshwan!
