About Ankita Yadav
Ankita lives with her parents, one brother, and one sister in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains where it rains frequently but also experiences seasons of drought usually during hot summer months. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The closest water well is about one kilometer from their home which makes gathering water for all their daily needs very laborious.
Ankita helps her parents with fetching water. Both of her parents are low-wage laborers. Ankita loves to read and enjoys playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend a Bible study and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Ankita and her family. Ankita needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
