About Ankita Singh
Ankita Singh lives with her parents and one sister in a mud hut in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located near a river. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals as they have intermittent electricity. The water well the family uses is 500 meters from their home.
Ankita helps with household chores. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Ankita wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys dancing and singing along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Please pray for Ankita, she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Ankita needs your help and support in providing for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
