About Anjani Paraste
Anjani comes from a very, poor, remote village in the Shahpura district in Central India. Her parents are village field laborers and sometimes they go to different states just to find better work. They are dedicated Christians. They worry about the safety of Anjani as they have to be gone so much for work. The village pastor told them about The Mercy Home and they were so delighted when they learned that Anjani was accepted. Now she will be safe, have a great education, and have time to really learn about Jesus.
Anjani is a sweet girl and loves to help with chores. Someday she would like to become a teacher, where she can help village children. Anjani enjoys memorizing Bible verses. She likes to play Kho-Kho (an Indian game). Her favorite color is blue and she loves marigold flowers.
