About Amit Pargi
Amit Pargi lives with his parents and his three sisters in a small mud house in a rural village in Northern India. The climate in this village is hot, dry, and wet. This area also experiences drought seasons. The village is located near a river and in a mountainous area. The family uses wood and dried cow pies as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 100 meters from their home. Their home has no running water.
Amit helps with household chores. His father is a laborer while his mother is a homemaker. Amit wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys playing tag with his friends. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, veggies, and chapatti.
Amit comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday. Amit needs your help to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Amit!
