About Alisha Masih
Alisha Masih lives with her parents and one brother in a brick-and-mud house in a small village in Central India. The village is located near a river and the climate is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 200 meters from their home.
Alisha helps with cooking meals. Her father is a laborer and her mother is a homemaker. Alisha wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys reading and playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are vegetables and chapatti.
Alisha comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, attend a Bible study, and pray together daily. Alisha needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
