About Akashbeer Singh
Akashbeer Singh lives with his parents, grandparents and one brother in a brick and mud house in a small village in North India. The climate in this village is hot, wet and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located in the plains. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 100 meters from their home.
Akashbeer helps with fetching water and doing household chores. His father and mother are both laborers. Akashbeer wants to become an army officer one day. He enjoys reading along with playing soccer, cricket, and volleyball. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetarian and chapatti.
Akashbeer comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, attend a Bible study and pray together daily. Akashbeer needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
