About Akash Mahendra
Akash Mahendra lives with his parents in a brick and concrete house in a town in Central India. The town is located in a plains where the climate is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Akash helps with babysitting his siblings. His father is a handyman and his mother is a maid. Akash wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys singing, reading, and playing board games. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, and chapatti.
Akash comes from a Christian family. They read the Bible daily and attend a Bible study. Akash needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
