About Akash Damor
Akash lives with his parents and three brothers in a mud house in a small village in North India. The climate in this village is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. The village is located in a valley. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 100 meters from their home.
Akash helps with household chores and babysits his siblings. Akash wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys reading along with playing soccer and cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Akash comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. Akash needs your help to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
