About Abhishek Paul
Abhishek Paul lives with his parents, grandmother, one brother and one sister in a brick and mud house in a town in Central India. The climate in this town is hot and humid. This area also experiences drought seasons. The town is located near a river, in a mountainous jungle area. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 100 meters from their home.
Abhishek helps with fetching water, household chores and babysitting his siblings. His father is a laborer while his mother is a homemaker. Abhishek wants to become an engineer one day. He enjoys reading along with playing soccer and cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), chicken and mutton.
Abhishek comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily and pray together daily. Abhishek needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
