About Abhishek Paragi
Abhishek is from a small, remote village in Western India. This area is in a valley that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. He lives with his parents and three brothers in a small mud hut. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals, as they cannot afford propane and do not have access to electricity. The water well the family uses is over a mile from their home, which makes gathering water extremely laborious.
His father is a laborer, which means he takes arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields. His mother is a homemaker and Abhishek helps with fetching water and household chores. Abhishek wants to become an engineer one day, and we want to help provide the education he will need to achieve that goal! He loves to read and sing and enjoys playing cricket. His favorite foods are rice, chicken, chapatti, and mutton. Abhishek comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. Abhishek needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
