About Lakhwinder Kaur
Child has moved away - Sep. 2016.
Lakhwinder Kaur lives with her parents and one brother in a mud house in a small village in North India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located in the plains. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 20 meters from their home.
Lakhwinder helps with fetching water and doing household chores. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Lakhwinder wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys dancing and reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetarian and chapatti.
Please pray for Lakhwinder as she comes from a Sikh family with no believers. Lakhwinder needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
Thank you for helping to provide Hope, Dignity and a Future to Lakhwinder!
