About Disha Das
Disha Das lives with her parents and two sisters in a mud hut in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located near a river. The family uses cowpies as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is about 500 meters from their home.
Disha helps her parents with the household chores. Her father is a laborer and her mother is a homemaker. Disha wants to become a nurse one day. She loves to read. In her spare time, Disha enjoys playing kho-kho (an Indian game) with her friends or ride a bicickle. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Please pray for Disha as she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Disha needs your help and support in providing for her school fees, uniform, books, school supplies, basic medical care, and other needs.
Thank you for helping to provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Disha!
