About Kalpana Khokariya

Kalpana lives with her parents, one brother, and sister in a small mud hut in a remote village in West India. This village is located in a valley, where the climate is hot and humid with occasional drought seasons. The family relies on wood to cook their meals as they cannot afford propane and they do not have access to electricity. The closest water well is about 2 kilometers from their home, which makes the daily task of getting water for all their needs very laborious and time-consuming.

Kalpana helps her parents with household chores even though she is still young. Her dream is to become a lawyer. Kalpana loves playing outdoors and with other children. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice. Kalpana needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.

Kalpana comes from a devoted Christian family. Her father is a village Preacher and the family has opened their humble home as a house church for local believers. Please pray that the whole village will come to the knowledge of the Lord Jesus! Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Kalpana!
