About Kashish Kumar
Fall 2023 letter says, I Left the School & doing Labor Work.
Kashish lives with his parents, brother, and sister in a brick and concrete house in a town located in Central India by the lake and surrounded by jungles and mountains. The climate in this area is hot and humid with occasional drought seasons. The family uses wood and propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 300 feet from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious and time-consuming.
Both of his parents are unskilled low-paid laborers, which means they get arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields. Since both of his parents work outside the home, Kashish helps with household chores, gardening and watching his younger siblings. Kashish wants to become a lawyer one day. He enjoys dancing and reading along with playing cricket. He is a vegetarian and his favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, and chapatti. Please pray for Kashish; he comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Kashish needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
