About Praveen Chakravarti
Praveen is from a small, remote village in Central India. This area is located near a river and experiences intense and seasonal droughts. He lives with his parents, grandparents, and three sisters in a small mud hut. The family uses cow pies or wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 300 feet from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious and time-consuming.
Both of his parents are unskilled laborers, which means they get arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields. Praveen helps with household chores and gardening. Praveen wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys reading and drawing along with playing cricket and badminton. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken, chapatti, and fish. Please pray for Praveen; he comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Praveen needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
