About Bijendra Nuniya
Bijendra is from a small remote village located near a river in Central India. This area experiences intense seasonal droughts. Bijendra lives with his parents and two brothers in a small mud hut. The family uses wood and propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 150 feet from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious.
His father is an unskilled laborer, which means he gets arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields. His mother is a homemaker and Bijendra helps with cooking meals, tending livestock, and household chores. Bijendra wants to become a doctor one day. He enjoys reading along with playing cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken, chapatti, and fish. Please pray for Bijendra; he comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Bijendra needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Bijendra!
