About Suhani Kumar
Suhani Kumar lives with her parents, one brother, and one sister in a brick and concrete house in a small village located on the plains of Northern India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood and propane as fuel to cook their meals.
Suhani helps with household chores. Her father is a laborer, while her mother is a homemaker. Suhani wants to become a nurse one day. She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chapatti, and vegetarian dishes. Suhani comes from a Christian family. They are attending church each Sunday and pray together daily. Suhani needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
