About Pooja Kaur
NOTE: Pooja Kaur has moved out of the village with his parents and is no longer part of the Mid India Child program. Please pray for his future!
Pooja Kaur lives with her parents and two brothers in a brick and concrete house in a small village in Northern India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located on a plain. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals.
Pooja helps her mother with cooking meals. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Pooja loves to read and wants to become a teacher one day. In her spare time, Pooja enjoys playing kho-kho (an Indian game) with her friends. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chapatti, and vegetarian dishes. Please pray for Pooja; she comes from a Sikh family with no believers. Pooja needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Pooja!
