About Akashdeep Singh
Akashdeep Singh lives with his parents, one brother, and three sisters in a brick and concrete house in a small village located on plains of Northern India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well close to their house so they do not have to carry their water too far. Akashdeep comes from a Christian family.
Akashdeep helps his parents with gardening and tending livestock. His father is an unskilled laborer, while his mother is a homemaker. Akashdeep loves to read. Understanding the value of education, Akashdeep wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys playing cricket with his friends. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and chapatti. Akashdeep needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
