About Shalem Lall
Shalem Lall lives with his parents and two brothers in a brick-and-mud house in a town in Central India. The town is located on a plain where the climate is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Shalem helps his parents with gardening and household chores. His father is a driver and his mother is a homemaker. Shalem wants to become an engineer one day. He enjoys singing, memorizing Bible stories, and playing cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, chicken, chapatti, and mutton.
Shalem comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, attend a Bible study, and pray together daily. Shalem needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Shalem!
