About Anshul Saket
My name is Anshul and I come from a very poor village named Shivpura near Rewa, our district city. My father is a low-wage laborer and goes to a nearby town to do the labor job. My mother is a housewife. After the COVID-19 pandemic, my mom never recovered well from being sick. She can’t do heavy labor work. We don’t have a school in our village. The closest school is about 8 miles from my home. My parents could not give me a good education and care for me.
The preacher in our area told us about the Mercy Home and I consider myself very blessed that I was chosen for the Mercy Home program. It will change my life! I can now happily dream about a bright future. I am very happy to live in a nice place with lots of other girls. We take turns leading the morning devotionals and I enjoy our prayer and praise time. I want to become a teacher one day. I like singing, dancing, playing soccer and badminton and carom. I love chicken curry and rice.
I am grateful to whoever my sponsor will be and can never thank them enough to help me so graciously and lovingly. Here at the Mercy Home, the girls celebrated my birthday for the first time in my life with cake and I got a beautiful outfit as a birthday present!! Thank you so much for considering me and I hope and pray to make you proud.
