About Mehakdeep Kaur
Mehakdeep lives with her parents, grandmother, brother, and two sisters in a brick-and-mud house in a small village in North-West India. The village is located in a valley with a hot climate that also experiences monsoons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their house.
Mehakdeep helps with household chores. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Mehakdeep wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, veggies, chicken, and chapatti.
Although they are still Sikh, they attend church each Sunday. They are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Mehakdeep and her family. Mehakdeep needs your help to provide her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Mehakdeep!
