About Surendra Gameti
Surendra is from the Bheel Tribe and lives with his parents and three brothers, Bhavesh, Gautam, and Piyush in a mud house in a small village in North India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons. The village is located in a mountainous area. The family uses wood and dried cow pies as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 250 meters from their home.
Surendra helps with household chores and babysits his brothers. His father is a farmer while his mother is a homemaker. Surendra wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys dancing, singing, and playing Glli Danda (Indian Stick Game) and Sitolia (Seven Stone Game). His favorite foods are chicken and chapatti.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend church each Sunday. They are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Surendra and his family. Surendra needs your help to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Surendra!
