About Nitisha Bhudara

Nitisha lives with his parents and one sister in a small mud house in a rural village in Northern India. The climate in this village is hot, dry, and wet, and also experiences drought seasons. The village is located near a river and in a mountainous area. The family uses wood and dried cow pies as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 350 meters from their home. Their home has no running water.

Nitisha helps his mom with chores the best that he can. His father is a laborer while his mother is a homemaker. He enjoys playing tag with his friends. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, veggies, and chapatti.

Nitisha comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday. Nitisha needs your help to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
