About Yashina Khokariya
Yashina lives with her parents and one brother in a brick and concrete house in a small town in Northern India. The climate in this town is hot and dry and experiences drought seasons. The town is located in a mountainous area. The family uses wood and propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is near their home, which is a blessing as their home has no running water.
Yashina helps with household chores. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Yashina wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys dancing and reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game) and board games. Her favorite foods are rice, chicken, chapatti, and mutton.
Yashina comes from a Christian family. They are attending church each Sunday. Yashina needs your help to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Yashina!
