About Anita Meena

Anita lives with her parents and three sisters in a brick and concrete house in a small town in Northern India. The climate in this town is hot and dry and experiences drought seasons. The town is located in a mountainous area. The family uses wood and propane as fuel to cook their meals. Their home does not have running water but they are blessed to have a water well nearby.

Anita helps with household chores and babysitting her siblings. Her father is a construction worker while her mother is a homemaker. Anita wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys dancing along with playing Judo (Martial Arts). Her favorite foods are rice, chicken, and chapatti.

Anita comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday. Anita needs your help to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
