About Samayra Khan
Samayra lives with her parents in a small brick-and-mud house in a small town in Central India. The climate in this area is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon storms. The town is located in a mountainous area. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals, along with wood when they run out of propane. The water well the family uses is 50 meters from their home. They have no running water in their home, so every day they carry jugs of water from the well.
Samayra helps with chores when she can. Both her father and her mother are teachers. Samayra wants to become a police officer one day. She enjoys singing and reading along with playing carom, a board game in India, and badminton. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, and chapatti (a flatbread).
Please pray for Samayra as she comes from a Muslim family with no believers. Samayra needs your prayers, help, and support to provide for school fees, uniforms, books, school bags, and other basic needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Samayra!
