About Vinay Nelson
Vinay Nelson lives with his parents, one brother, and one sister in a small brick and mud house in a town in Central India. The town is located in a mountainous area in the jungle where the climate is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Vinay helps with household chores. His father is a laborer and his mother is a homemaker. Vinay wants to become a doctor one day. He enjoys soccer and cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, chicken, and chapatti.
Vinay comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, attend a Bible study, read the Bible daily, and pray together daily. Vinay needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
