About Vandana Singh Gound

Vandana Singh Gound lives with her parents, her brother Vikas, and her sister Archana in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. The village is located in mountainous jungles near a river. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences drought seasons.  The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals.

Vandana helps her parents with gardening and household chores. Her father is a farmer, while her mother is a homemaker. Vandana wants to become a teacher one day. She loves to read and enjoys singing along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game) and volleyball. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken, chapatti, and fish.

Please pray for Vandana; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Vandana needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Vandana!
