About Umesh Khairwar
Umesh Khairwar lives with his parents, one brother and two sisters in a mud house in a small village in Central India. The village is located in the jungle where the climate is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Umesh helps with fetching water. His father and mother are laborers. Umesh wants to become a lawyer one day. He enjoys reading and playing cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and chapatti.
Although Umesh and his family are still Hindu, they are attending church each Sunday and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Umesh and his family. Umesh needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
