About Surya Banskar
Surya Banskar lives with his parents, one brother and two sisters in a mud house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located near a river. Because they experience intermittent electricity, the family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 200 meters from their home.
Surya helps with fetching water. His father is a laborer while his mother is a homemaker. Surya wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys playing with toys and playing kho-kho (an Indian game) with his friends. His favorite food is vegetarian.
Please pray for Surya, he comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Surya needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
