About Sukhmaan Masih
Sukhmaan Masih lives with her parents, one brother, and one sister in a small brick and concrete house in a remote village located on a plain of Northern India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood and propane as fuel to cook their meals.
Sukhmaan comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. Her father is a security guard, while her mother is a homemaker. Sukhmaan helps with household chores. Sukhmaan wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys singing and reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and chapatti. Sukhmaan needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
