About Stuti Masih

A few years ago, Stuti's mother passed away from Meningitis. Her father's work as a truck driver kept him away from home for long periods of time, leaving his young daughter alone. Prevented from caring for Stuti, her father made the difficult decision to send her to live with his brother and sister-in-law. He hoped that there Stuti would receive the love and attention she needed. Sadly, Stuti's Aunt and Uncle were not interested in caring for a niece, but rather in acquiring a servant. They refused to allow Stuti to attend school, instead, forcing her to do all the housework for the family. At night, they made her sleep outside on the doorstep of the house.

When her father realized the poor treatment his daughter was receiving, he turned to the Mercy Home for help. Through the Mercy Home, Stuti has the opportunity to obtain a quality education. Surrounded by loving and supportive caretakers, she is learning to trust the certain promises of Christ rather than living in fear and uncertainty. Stuti has a vibrant, talkative personality. She loves getting to know new friends and learning new dances. Inspired by her new circumstances, she dreams of one day becoming a lawyer. Her favorite foods are Dhal (lentils), rice, and chicken.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Stuti!
