About Sonam Martin
Sonam Martin (Sona) has been brought to us from Uttar Pradesh state by the local preacher of the area. Sonam lived in a small hut with her mother, one younger brother, and four more sisters. Her mother works as labor worker and struggled greatly trying to raise her children. She was unable to feed, clothe, and educate them properly. Because of their low caste, no one stepped in to help. The preacher brought three sisters to Mercy Home; two have become nurses and Sonam is now receiving a good education. She, like her sister, wants to become a nurse.
Sonam enjoys singing, dancing, and Bible study. Her favorite stories from the Bible are Noah and the story of the Lost Sheep. She now knows the true God who loves her cares for her and never leaves or forsakes her. Praise and glory be to God for He does mighty amazing things.
