About Sombai Prasad

Sombai Prasad lives with her parents and two sisters in a mud hut in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located near a river. Because they experience intermittent electricity, the family uses cowpies as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 300 meters from their home.
Sombai helps with the gardening. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a maid. Sombai wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Please pray for Sombai as she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Sombai needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
