About Shreya Chouhan
Shreya lives with her parents, one brother and one sister in a brick and concrete house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located near a river in the jungle. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 10 meters from their home.
Shreya helps withthe gardening. Her father is a preacher while her mother is a shopkeeper. Shreya wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys dancing and singing as well as playing carom. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Shreya comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. Shreya needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
