About Shivanshu Sen
Shivanshu Sen lives with his parents, one brother, and one sister in a brick and concrete house in a small village surrounded by the jungles of Central India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences periods of monsoons and drought seasons. The family uses propane and wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is not too far from their home.
Shivanshu helps with household chores and babysitting his siblings. His father and mother both work as low-wage unskilled laborers. Shivanshu wants to break this cycle of poverty and dreams of becoming an engineer one day. He enjoys reading, dancing, and singing along with playing cricket with his friends. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, veggies, and chapatti (an Indian bread).
Please pray for Shivanshu as he comes from a Hindu family with no Christian believers. Shivanshu needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, school uniform, books, school bag, and other needs such as school lunches and shoes.
