About Shanoo Vishvkarma
Shanoo lives with his parents, two brothers and two sisters in a mud house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located near a river in the jungle. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 10 meters from their home.
Shanoo helps with fetching water and doing household chores. His father is a laborer while his mother is a homemaker. Shanoo wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game) and cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice and chapatti.
Shanoo comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. Shanoo needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
