About Savan Kumar Dhuliya
Savan lives with his parents and his sister Shraddha in a small mud hut in a very poor remote village in Central India. Savan likes to help his momma with chores around the house such as gathering wood that she uses to cook on, helping to hang up the fresh hand-washed clothes to dry, and handwashing and drying dishes. He looks forward to the day when he is big enough to help carry the jugs with his mom to fetch water for their family from the local well.
Savan hopes someday he can be a teacher. He loves to sing and dance and enjoys when someone reads to him. He looks forward to learning how to read in school. His favorite thing to do is to play in the mud with his village friends. Their meals are very simple, but he loves them! Savan's favorites are dal (lentils), white rice, and chapati (Indian flatbread).
Please pray for Savan, his family, and their village; they are generations old Hindu's and we pray that someday the entire village will come to know the Lord. Thank you for bringing Hope, Dignity and a Future to Savan!
