About Satish Kumar Dhurvay
Satish lives with his mother, father, and one sister in a very small, poor village in Central India. Their home is a one-room mud hut. His mother is a homemaker and his father is a farmer. Satish enjoys helping his mother with chores such as collecting wood and cow pies that are used as fuel for cooking and fetching water at the village well in jugs. The well is over 1000 meters away from their home. He also helps with handwashing their clothes and dishes, tends the garden, and helps with cooking.
Satish dreams of becoming a doctor someday and helping the people in his village. He enjoys reading and singing. In his free time, you will see him playing cricket with his friends. He and his family live on a simple diet of dal (lentils), white rice, and chapati (flat Indian bread). On special occasions, they will kill a chicken and enjoy chicken curry.
Please pray for Satish, his family, and his village as they are generations-old Hindus. We pray that the entire village will come to know the Lord.
