About Sangeeta Daber
Sangeeta Daber came to Mercy Home from a very remote village where she lived with her parents, two brothers, and five sisters in a mud hut. Her parents are first-generation Christians. They own a very small piece of land where they grow crops. However, it is barely sufficient just for their own family. Occasionally Sangeeta's father also works as a laborer in other fields. Her mother is a housewife. All family works together at home, in the fields and taking care of their domestic animals and chickens. Sangeeta's parents long for their children to receive a good education and grow in the knowledge of and relationship with Jesus Christ.
Sangeeta is very happy of the opportunity to be a part of the Mercy Home family! Here she can receive a good education and worship the Lord without fear of persecution. Sangeeta enjoys studying and wants to become a doctor one day so she can contribute to the work of God’s kingdom. She likes reading and singing. In her spare time, she enjoys playing Kho-Kho and badminton with her new friends. She loves all food, but her favorite foods are chicken, mutton, and roasted vegetables.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity and a Future to Sangeeta!
