About Samiksha Devi Turkal
Samiksha lives with her parents and one sister in a very poor, small village, in Central India. Their home is a humble one-room mud hut. Her father is a farmer and her mother is a housewife. Samiksha helps her momma with household chores, such as collecting wood that her momma cooks on, tending the garden, helping hand-wash dishes, and walking with her momma to the village well to fetch water, which is over 100 meters away.
Samiksha dreams of being a doctor someday and being able to come and help the families in her village. She loves to sing and dance and enjoys learning how to read and write. She has a lot of energy and you will see her running through the village and playing with her friends. Samiksha and her family live on a simple diet of dal (lentils), white rice, and chapati (flat Indian bread).
Please pray for Samiksha, her family, and her village; they are generations old Hindus and our prayer is that they will find the truth in Jesus.
Thank you for bringing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Samiksha!
