About Sakshi Yadav
Sakshi lives with her parents, one brother and one sister in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains where it rains frequently but also experiences seasons of drought usually during hot summer months. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The closest water well is about one kilometer from their home which makes gathering water for all their daily needs very laborious.
Sakshi helps her parents with gardening and fetching water. Both of her parents are low-wage laborers. Sakshi wants to become a teacher one day. She loves to read and sing and enjoys playing badminton. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice and chicken.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend a Bible study and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Sakshi and her family. Sakshi needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity and a Future to Sakshi!
