About Sajjan Singh

Sajjan lives with his parents, one brother, and one sister in a small mud hut in a poor, remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains and experiences intense heat as well as alternating monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have the water well not too far from their house.

His father is an unskilled low-wage laborer. His mother is a homemaker and Sajjan helps with household chores, gardening, tending livestock and fetching water from the well. Sajjan wants to become a teacher one day. He loves to read and sing and enjoys playing badminton and kho-kho, an Indian sport that is a bit like a team-based tag. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken, and chapatti.

Please pray for Sajjan; he comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Sajjan needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Sajjan!
