About Sahil Masih
Sahil Masih lives with his parents, one brother, and one sister in a small brick and concrete house in a remote village located on a plain of Northern India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood and propane as fuel to cook their meals.
Sahil comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. His father is a contractor, while his mother is a homemaker. Sahil helps his parents with household chores. Sahil wants to become a doctor one day. He enjoys reading and singing along with playing cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and chapatti. Sahil needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
